Private showing of the exhibition

Last night was the private showing of our exhibition, we had a brilliant turn out, here are some photos of the show!
Alex's final pieces responding to the tropics.
Brodies theme was pattern.
Tess used graphic design to re-create a vodka brand that belonged to her Italian ancestors.
Eugenie created jewlery using various objects.
Rosie's theme was the royals.
Esme has created a conceptual installation based on her theme memory works.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody who has come to view the show so far, and welcome anybody else who hasn't as of yet! We look forward to seeing you soon!

Setting up the exhibition

It's been a very busy week, all students have been working tirelessly to set up their exhibitions, we have faced problems with hanging work, lighting and sound. But over all it's run very smoothly! We started by clearing the room, moving everything out, such as tables chairs, computers, then we brought the exhibition boards over and painted them. We then brought plinths and shelves over and painted them too. Then we put up our own final pieces.
Here are some photos of us all in action!

Poster and flyer drafts...

After various meetings, in which the group discussed what we thought the poster and flyers should include, colour schemes, fonts, page sizes and many more aspects to the design process, Tess has created some drafts for the group to choose from. Here are the drafts so far! Please not that none of the information on these posters and flyers are final.
